Who We Are
The Entheos Community is a global collective of makers, healers, artists, curators, scientists, and leaders on six continents from more than 43 different countries. We actively contribute to transformational communities, work in medical and/or psychological research, innovate at the intersection of technology and culture, facilitate intimate experience with the sacred, and study the evolution of consciousness.

We are a community that:
Explores the mystery and science of consciousness;
Acts with value-centered purpose across all national, religious and ideological lines; and
Gathers regularly to share and experience what we have learned with those who are discovering their own entheos.
We create sacred spaces in unusual places to celebrate the gift of life and we endeavor to connect Entheos communities globally that cultivate healing and transformation locally.
Entheos Projects
@ BURNING MAN
Members of the Entheos Community currently organize one of the largest, and most diverse, theme camps placed at the annual Burning Man event in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Friends and members of the Entheos Community come from over forty-three countries to contribute their labor, skills and resources to the creation of Entheos @ Burning Man. The camp co-creates extensive 24/7 interactivity for all ages as a gift to the citizens of Black Rock City, functions as a pilgrimage home for its members, and serves as a nexus to meaningfully connect people from around the world across national, religious, and ideological lines. As part of Entheos’ commitment to radical inclusion, diversity, and equity, we hold a portion of our camp capacity open each year to welcome people who are camping with Entheos @ Burning Man for the first time. WINTER VISION RETREAT
The Entheos Community organizes an annual five night visioning retreat for members and guests in remote and often challenging locations. Past retreats have taken us to Death Valley and Slab City in Southern California and more recently to Enchanted Ridge and the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern California. These retreats are organized to deepen our communal connections, to practice flow state modalities, and to discern specific goals for the year that advance our strategic vision as a community.
Gatherings
The Entheos Community organizes regular gatherings throughout the year for its members and guests as part of its mission to create sacred spaces in unusual places that celebrate the gift of life.
Community Village and retreat center
Envisioned around an anchoring eco-village, nature sanctuary, and retreat facility, the Entheos Community is actively organizing the development of sustainable space to host creators, conservators, practitioners and learners who are experimenting with the development of Game B communities, exploring the implementation of consent-based governance, researching individual and collective consciousness, and gathering regularly to share and experience what they have learned with others who are discovering their own entheos.
Entheos defined
What We Believe
Entheos (ἔνθεος) is a Greek word which literally translates as, “the god within.” In classical speculation on art, inspired genius was said to be entheos, “filled with god,” and because (s)he utters divine words was able to give “birth to beauty.” Entheos speaks to the wakening of individual and collective consciousness, and by it we mean that the authentic self, the creative, artistic and passionate being of a person, is the fundamental locus of their divinity.
By Entheos we are not referencing a particular religion, faith or creed, rather we are pointing to a universal and personal experience of the sacred which we believe is most clearly recognized when we gather as a community with creative intention.
